here is my little peace and quiet time. or it's more like i wish i could do this, soaking in bubble bath, reading book and drinking wine in the candle lights. oh and with my cuddly cat near by... sounds great, huh! maybe some day.... :)
I bought gocco print a couple years ago from a thrift store and never got a chance to use it. I didn't even think it worked since it's only $2.99. Though it looked pretty new, so last night I opened the box and started messing with it and ta da!!! It worked awesome! I was soooo excited with my new screen print cards. I still need to learn more about it and will show you what I will come up next! click here :)
PDX Street Team just got together on sunday to sell arts and crafts! It was my first show ever and I had to say that it was a success. We will probably continue this every year from now on, this year was just an experiment to see how we did. Well, there were lots of traffic in this little pizza place. even though it was very wet and cold, people were still out to buy and look at our stuff. ETSY ROCKS!!!
I'm also going to the other show next month! This one will be bigger than our Etsy group, so I don't want to expect anything much yet. At least I will have fun :)
it's CLEAR to me it's that time of year again when people start their holiday shopping! they're everywhere!!! though this year, i'm going to make my own presents that my friends and family can appreciate. no more fighting over parking spot or trying to find the right present for each one of my family. there you go, it's also CLEAR my headache too! :)
Oh wow, this is the first time somebody ever talked about my work. I'm soooo excited!!! Even though there's no comment yet, I'm still pretty happy to be on somebody else's page..... If you want to be the first to comment my work, then be my guest :) visit her website here!
Alright, I'm back! Sorry for being away for so long, I've been working hard on my etsy store. Now I have time to play again, yay!!! Here's my "quiet" for this week's topic. Somehow night owl was the first thing that came to my head....must be because you can only hear an owl when it's quiet at night :P Thanks for looking and feel free to leave me some feed back :)
i hardly have anytime to do anything else now a day. so here is the image i created last year for the first IF. i know i'm cheating, but i just wanna enter something :P thanks for looking guys!
i normally use bright and playful colors, but this time i'm trying something different. since the topic is "clean". so here it is... clean living.... clean mind & soul :)
here's my recent project, designing everything from logo, stationary, labels to website for fifi & fido. and now amanda is working on a book called "A Woman, Her Dog, Her Business" which i will help with book cover design also. i have no idea what it will look like yet....but that is a fun part of it, brainstorming :)
my friends from cali came visit us for a few days a few weeks ago. so i took them to the famous multnomah falls. it's beautiful there, i wish i could jump in and lay there right now. it's just soooo hot, hot and hot......
We went out to play this morning and on the way back my son picked this flower from neighbor's front yard. I have no idea what kind of flower this is but it looks way too exotic to be in the northwest.....
I have a monster under my bed and he looks like this! Most of the time he nibbles crumbs and dust bunny, though he prefers leftover mexican and thai food. (anything spicy will do) his colorful eyes can put anyone to sleep, especially when you have problem sleeping. Eventhough he lives under the bed, he loves to sit on the roof gazing at stars. (he flies up there with his stumpy orange wings) You can invite him over anytime, he's a great company and can beat you on any board games. (and don't forget to feed him thai food ;)
One of my best friends just had a baby boy today. How exciting! I wish I could be there with them right now.... well, here's a happy birthday for little guy!...oamsub
We rode our boards down to the river today, it was nice but a little too chilly. Got a chance to play with perspective a bit. I still can't quite get it yet, or maybe I can blame on my camera since there's no zoomer..... :P
