And the winners are....

...not me!!! But these awesome fifteen sock designs. Well, at least two of my designs, Goldfish & Kiwis, got to be in the final round. Even my favorite illustrator, Tricia Tharp, had two of her designs in the final. Not bad at all....and can't wait until the next contest :)

Kiwi Love Fabric

Just posted this on etsy this morning. Hopefully my fabric would do well. It's been very slow for the last couple months for me.... Anyway, I'm thinking about making a reversible apron using this fabric with something bright on the other side, that would be so cute!

One Mad Bunny

I know bunny doesn't need a bath, but Coco just had to have one. She's been living outside in a hutch with her previous owner for years and her bottom was so yellow and smelly with matted hair all over. She didn't enjoy one bit of her bath and she was mad at me for weeks. Just look at her expressive eye in the picture.... :P Anyway, she won't need another bath in her life since she is officially a house bunny. (promise :)

Mini Reversable Aprons

I made a few reversible aprons (like this one here) for craft shows last year and they were pretty popular that I started making mini version of it. I haven't put much time promoting them yet but just listed this one up on etsy the other day. I'll start listing the others soon.

They're Here!!!

Yeah, my fabrics have arrived!!! (last week) My favorite one is the bunnies, of course. You can check out my fabric shop here. There are six designs for you to purchase and more coming soon.

Have a Handsome Valentine's Day!

My 7-year-old was so creative with his Valentine card this year. It amazed me what was going on in his thoughts to come up with this nice packaging. There were steps you had to follow. First lift the orange flap up to see his greetings, then open the pink flap to get to the card. Last, open it up and read the message. It's funny and cute at the same time, don't you think?

Watercolor Painting

I haven't done painting for so long since I started using computer creating logos and illustrations. I really missd it and so here's my first watercolor painting ever. I love this picture of my boys and since I couldn't do realistic painting...I went with line art/cartoon style instead. Result? Still needed a lot more practice, but not bad for my first try :P

Scarf for the Winter

As promised, here's one of my winter projects I did. Scarf made from recycled t-shirts and sweaters. I love the colors and how it turned out but it's a little too long.

Woot! Woot!

I went hang out with my friend a few days ago and she told me about weekly t-shirt contest at woot. So I'm giving it a try. Contest theme this week is Heart! I actually thought of "Heart beats" with heart playing drums, but someone else already did a good job on that one. (After I spent so much time working on it) Oh well, so I guess I have to stick with my own drawing style. Here is my new one, There's no place. I used my old image of kiwi mama and baby... If you think I deserve it, please vote for me :)

Catching Up

Happy New Year! I guess it's not too late to say that since it's not the end of January yet. As always, I'm so behind with uploading new projects that are probably old now plus I forgot how many things I've done for the last few months. I promise to find the pictures of all things soon. For now, check out my new creations from Spoonflower I'm planning to open a new etsy store just for fabrics. I'm excited just thinking about it... will let you know soon. :)

Coco Chanel

Introducing our new addition to the family, Coco Chanel! She is the sweetest thing I've ever seen. We adopted her from the shelter last Thursday and already she feels so comfortable hopping around the house and greeting visitors. Kaya starts drawing a lot of bunny pictures lately, he really adores her. What a sweet life :)

Now I have something to give to the little ones that always come check out my table at craft shows. Plus I have to send in swag to Secret Society. Messy room

Argggg.... I need to be more organized! Too many things to do and I kept moving on to the next project, one after the other before getting the old ones done. Result? here's what my room looked like. It's clean up time. I still have to run to Fedex office to print out stickers. (I'll show you tomorrow) Also need to print more mini stationery and notecards for this Wednesday. I have an appointment with this new stationery shop on Hawthorne...hopefully things would go well. Alright, gotta get rid of this messy room.

Again, Spoonflower has another fun contest. I applied my lovely owl pattern for the contest, of course. I also just ordered 2 yards of owl pattern to make my own dolls for Holiday craft shows and for gifts. Can't wait to see it! Anyway, if you're interested in submitting your own design, you still have time until Monday, Oct.19th. You can read all about it here. So hurry!
